This website at vertexwritingsolutions.com is operated by Vertex Writing Solutions (“Vertex,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the site or downloading any material from it, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the materials.

2. About Vertex Writing Solutions

Vertex provides regulatory medical-writing template products and related services for pharmaceutical sponsors, biotechnology companies, and contract research organizations. The website provides information about those products, practical writing guidance, and a small number of free templates offered for evaluation.

3. Free templates — license to use

The templates and other downloadable files offered free on this site (the “Free Templates”) remain the property of Vertex. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Free Templates on the following terms.

You may

• Download, open, and evaluate the Free Templates.
• Share a Free Template internally within your organization for evaluation.
• Use a Free Template as a reference or starting point for a document you create with your own content.

You may not

• Resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercialize the Free Templates, in whole or in part.
• Redistribute, republish, or post the Free Templates publicly, or present them as your own product or template.
• Remove or alter any copyright, attribution, or proprietary notice on a Free Template.
• Use the Free Templates, or the example text within them, to train, fine-tune, ground, or otherwise develop any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model, or to generate substantially similar material.

We may modify, withdraw, or stop offering any Free Template at any time. This license covers the Free Templates only. The full Vertex template suite and any other paid product are licensed separately under a written license agreement, and nothing here grants any right to those materials.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site — the templates and example text, written guidance, page copy, design, logo, and the “Vertex Writing Solutions” name — is owned by Vertex or used with permission and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license in Section 3, no right or license to any Vertex content is granted to you. The example text in the Free Templates is original work and editorial arrangement created by Vertex; the underlying regulatory requirements, section headings mandated by ICH or FDA, and other facts are not claimed as proprietary.

5. No regulatory, legal, or medical advice

The Free Templates and all content on this site are provided for general information and illustration only. They are not regulatory, legal, or medical advice, and they are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional or for the requirements of any health authority. See the full Disclaimer. You are responsible for confirming that any document you create meets the regulatory, scientific, and legal requirements that apply to your program.

6. No warranties

The site and the Free Templates are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
